In August this year the German tuner, G-Power, claimed the world’s fastest sedan title with BMW M5 Hurricane RR. In its never die pursuit to claim another world’s fastest title, the tuner has struck again with its M6 Hurricane RR which it claims to be world’s world’s fastest 4-seat Coupé. Based on the outgoing BMW M6 Coupé, the fastest coupe, or so they claim, is powered by V10 bi-supercharger engine from, same as in BMW M5 Hurricane RR, which churns out a mammoth 800hp between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft generated at 5,000 rpm.
The engine propels the two-ton car from 0-100km/h in less than 4.35 seconds. It takes 9.2 seconds to reach 200 km/h while reaching the top speed of 300km/h in 24.9 seconds. To support this overall performance, the tuning package includes a high-performance braking system, a coil-over sports suspension that has 9-way adjustability for compression and rebound plus variable height adjustment, new 20-inch forged alloy wheels clad in 255/35 ZR 20 upfront and 285/30 ZR 20 (rear) rubber.
Additionally, there are new aero-parts including carbon-fibre front skirt and a rear spoiler and its interior has been updated with a new speedometer that shows 400 km/h and there is carbon-fiber trim for the dashboard, centre console and door trim, as well as a new sports steering wheel upholstered in perforated Kjerba Nappa leather. Though the tuner hasn’t revealed the pricing but it is to cost somewhere close to $345K to own the world’s fastest 4-seat Coupé.
