e-Wolf to build Alpha-2 electric supercar, 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 secs

As we’ve mentioned before, all of this push for green and more efficient motoring has yet to keep the speed demons in us enthusiasts from showing our true colors. Last week we saw the introduction of the world’s fastest natural-gas powered supercar from independent firm, LNG. A German firm by the name of e-WOLF created what they call the Alpha-2. And by the looks of it, the Alpha-2 can pass as an electric Enzo.
Featuring two electric motors rated at a combined 187-hp, with a power boost option that gives the Alpha-2 a total of 375-hp and 800 Nm or 590 lb-ft of torque for 30-second time intervals. The result is a 0-62 time of 3.9 seconds and the firm shouts out claims of a 143 mph top speed.
In terms of distance, the Alpha-2 can go up to 185 miles on a single charge and the batteries can be charged to 80% within a half-hour on the charger.
Prices are rumored to start at around €292,000 or $423,000 US for the Alpha-2, which joins e-WOLF’s fleet of other electric sports cars, urban transport, small trucks and electric motorcycles.
