Stuttgart-based automaker Porsche recently announced that it will soon release a new SUV named Cajun and the company was all set to produce new car because it has tasted huge success with its super successful Cayenne, regarded by many as the one of the best SUV to hit the road so far. According to reports, Porsche is also planning to cash in on the success of Porsche Panamera sedan and is ready to come up with a product which can compete with BMW 5-Series and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the most popular sedan in market these days.
We know that automakers give a codename to their new project and Porsche has codenamed the project Pajun. It is likely that the new sedan will carry over the engine lineup from the Panamera, which is a good news for Porsche lovers because it means that the sedan will come in all the three version: gasoline, diesel and hybrid.
Porsche is without doubt one of the best luxury brands in the market and I am hoping that like its Cayenne, the company will do good business with Pajun also. Porsche is yet to make an official statement related to the release of the Pajun, but it is likely that the new machine will hit the road in 2016.
